Treasures of Darkness

“Within the depths of
His darkest clouds
God often seems to bury His
richest treasures –
silver streaks of growth,
sterling faith,
precious, gleaming truths –
for His children.

Has a dense cloud of doubt, pain,
loss, trouble, frustration, or loneliness
settled over you, dear one?
Search out the treasures of darkness!
The riches of your heavenly Father hide there –
with your name engraved in silver!
growing in closeness to God.”

About Just-A-Thought

Life can get very busy, fast and heavy. Sometimes living can become a challenge as life seems to always throw us at the deep end. In times like that, we need encouragement, a word of hope, a voice that assures that it gets better; that we should hang on. Just-A-Thought offers Christian words of hope in dispair, light in darkness, and strength to carry on.
